2011 MD SPDAP program
There are some significant changes
from last year, so please be sure to read the first few pages of the document
carefully !
The biggest changes are:
1. the monthly payment towards PDP premium will be up to $
35.00/month
2. the State will pay 95% of an enrollees prescription costs during the
DONUT HOLE if they are
enrolled in one of the plans that have the 95% benefit - please
look at the attached list!!!
This is a big deal for those clients who do reach the donut hole. Bravo is
one of the plans that will have the 95% benefit - this is another reason for
your clients to consider Bravo for their MAPD plan. Also, as you should already
know, if your clients qualify for the MD SPDAP program and are not yet enrolled
in it, submitting an application will create a SEP for your clients, provided
that they actually do qualify.
